About the Ministry

Hannah Sobeski’s family and her community watched the Lord use her life to write a beautiful story of hope during her 6 month battle with cancer.  Because her testimony of faith and unwavering hope in Jesus Christ were so compelling to her death on November 9, 2006, Hannah’s Hope Ministries was formed to perpetuate her legacy of faith.  The vision of Hannah’s Hope Ministries is to provide hope to individuals and families in life crisis, whether that life crisis is cancer, divorce, addiction, or simply the challenge of a young person living in today’s culture.

Hope Care©

While our medical professionals provide wonderful “health care” to folks in medical crisis, HopeCare © comes alongside and parallels "Health Care" by ministering to the non-medical needs of individuals in crisis.

The HopeCare© program seeks to encourage and enable mature believers as they are presented with opportunities to minister to folks in life crises, and their families. It is generally presented in local churches, and addresses these issues:

  • What does the Bible teach about suffering and ministering to those who are suffering?  Crisis through the eyes of Job and his three friends.
  • Ministering to the families of folks in crises.  Personal words from Hannah’s family about faith, hope, family, and the body of Christ.
  • Faith and medicine. Hannah’s oncologist discusses his own journey of faith, his journey with Hannah, the role of faith in his daily practice, and practical words for helping those in medical crisis.
  • Stories of Hope. The staff of Hannah’s Hope Ministries shares personal experiences of ministry.
  • Networking, Social Networking & other resources. HopeCare© is one of several ministries of Hannah's Hope Ministries. We'll provide your folks with the resources they need to help them comfortably and confidently respond to the needs of those around them.

HopeCare© is an eight to ten hour workshop and may be adjusted to meet your church’s needs.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. - 1 Corinthians 1:3-4
